Steffen from Germany looked much older. Yet he was only 34 years old. Due to a very pronounced androgenetic alopecia, there was hardly any hair left at the temples and on the top of his head. Because Steffen did not want to take medication, such as Minoxidil, for a long time due to the side effects, he decided to have a hair transplant in March 2019.
After in-depth consultation, we performed an hair transplantation using the Sapphire FUE method. 3700-3750 grafts were needed in the process to fill in the bald spots again. With Steffen’s permission, we were allowed to document the procedure and the growth of the new hair in detail.
